Ah daily blogging! I don't know if I could do that. There are days when there's just no time to get to a computer. I'm going to try NaNoWriMo this year, but I think I might fail. I have no story, nothing yet and it's already the first day tomorrow!

[this is good] Yes, I'll give it a go

It's Come To This...

I just started blogging the beginning of this month.  Have never done this before.  I have made a committment to blog daily.  Funny thing is, I go throughout my day thinking in terms of 'bloggable' content.  "Is this blog worthy?"  It's like this constant internal editing process.  Typically what I think is interesting yeilds absolutely no comments.  And when I just slap something up there, neighbors respond.  That's what makes this so compelling to me.  It's fairly unpredictable.

I should really participate...probably going to be blogging daily, anyway. Must as well get "credit."

reesie - it's not going to be easy, but I'm going to try. NaNoWriMo is a much bigger investment of time and energy, though you could combine the two by using your writing as a blog entry.  Good luck with that!

Sujatin -  cool, I'll make sure you're on my Friends list and start stalking you.  oops, I mean reading you.

It's Come To This...  - funnily enough your comment about being constantly in content gathering mode is one of the primary points made at a panel I was on recently on blogging. It's one of the ways blogging has changed how people operate in their day-to-day lives.  I like to think of it as being more present and engaging in one's day, but it can also be viewed as constantly editing and/or manupulating to get a better story. I figure this is one of the major life challenges professional journalists have always faced.

re: slapping stuff up vrs interesting - We all have that problem.  See my "trying too hard" post.

angelanoel - you might even win prizes... that's extra good credit.
